Is he being kept tabs on because he's good or is it more the fact that he's only 21 and we ain't got a pot to pee in? That said he's done well this season however he's a shadow of the player loft is and find it hard to believe teams of that standard are looking at an average league 2 player

Maybe they don't have the same expectations that you have in a league 4 player.

He still needs to take one or two touches less to do what he does before he can even consider making a move to a higher division.

Morsy is a 'terrier' type of player in that he will chase all day but he is not what I call an A to C passer of a ball. These are the class playmakers who can deliver the 'killer' ball which cuts out the pass to player B. This was an ability which the likes of Ray Walker and the much maligned Gaz Roberts had.

I hope I'm proved wrong but to my mind Sam will never have that special skill because it can't be taught or learned it comes naturally.

I think he is average at best and doesn't score enough goals for a central midfielder. In my opinion he is overrated.

I don't think he's good enough, but these clubs will see it a as a bit of a gamble that's not going to cost them much. We're in admin so likely to accept anything between 30-50k, that's peanuts to championship clubs.

His cross field passes this year are typical of his better use and distribution of the ball. Much more involved this year and unlucky to get subbed vs Gillingham as he was arguably our best player first half.

He's shown a very big improvement for me, would like to see him alongside an experienced old head to help him or Burge along in the middle, think that would help the wide lads too.

Erm, no. Shuker in my opinion isn't a central midfielder, he's a good option to play out right wing nothing more.

I got slated on here a while back for stating that Morsy had more potential than Roberts, now one is being watched by championship/div 1 clubs and the other is in the conference. There is loads more improving to come from Morsy as he gains experience and I just hope he continues to improve with us and that we don`t let him go on the cheap. He will make mistakes as he is always available for the ball and doesn`t hide, but at times this season he has looked the complete midfielder.
