Wycombe v Port Vale - Match Thread

Featured Replies

Impossible to get to 50 points if we lose more than one league game.

Blackpool v Exeter is on Good Friday so a positive result for either side will leave us 15 points adrift.

Yep. Just waiting for a post how winning our games in hand makes everything look better and possible to survive.

Think the commentators said 20 games.

19 or 20 it shows how bad we are.

20 games from 38 we have failed to score in. The make a lot about the defence on commentary but fundamentally you will always get relegated if you can't score in over half your games.

Don’t worry, we’re going to “have a hell of a go”. It’ll be fine.

😂😂😂😁

We won’t have to wash the kit, Not a spec of dirt on any of them😡😂

I despair at some of our fans as well. Saw people arguing on the way out because someone had told the players to <ovf censored> off and called them <ovf censored>, and someone else took issue with that.

I personally don’t understand people who clap the players off when we’ve put in a performance like that. For me I only clap if they’ve tried - like at Blackpool. But if people want to do that they’re entitled to.

Similarly, as long as it doesn’t cross the line (which F off and saying they’re sh** doesn’t), fans are entitled to tell the players what they think of them.

Think I heard something about one of the players families being there, but for me, if they can’t handle their family being called crap etc when they’ve put in a performance like that, they shouldn’t be sat in the away end when we are rock bottom of the table putting in honking performances week after week.

Just seen Blackpool won late on so any result between them and Exeter will leave us at least 15 points adrift.

Barnsley or Peterborough look the most likely candidates for us to get the R.

Know what you mean there will be fans who still believe we can win the games in hand - we had 4 games in hand, then 3 games in hand.

Hello we have to win the games in hand and there is no way this squad can do that.

Well I've tried to defend the team all season, but honestly, that was totally embarrassingly p*ss-poor by virtually every player.

Disgraceful, just disgraceful.

If any of our under contract players have the cheek to say they’re too good for league 2 and want a league 1 move as well, I’d be telling them where to go if I was Carol.

Not one player today was league 1 quality. Bizarre when some like Gabriel and Humphreys spent their entire career at league 1 and above.

Just sent an email to [email protected]. confirming I will not be renewing my two season tickets.

adding that this game has confirmed that we are an embarrassment to L1

Wasn't there a helicopter involved? Or was that somewhere else?

No I think you're right.

I will have a pint of what Richie on grumble and grumble is having.

Saying Vale players will have a good game next week.

Love the hope mate - but like many of us - its been kicked out of us by this squad in match games.

What the actual fook do we do in training !! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
