There are not words to describe that performance. The starting eleven was puzzling, the defending disgraceful and the attack all but non-existent. 

How can a team gift goals like that.

What Brady sees in Archer I do not know.

If they had to work for their goals I wouldn't complain but that was far too easy to score. Second was a lucky one and last, their number 12 was straight in line of shot and offside but game gone by then.

Glad I’m going to Chelsea and not watching it on telly. The punditry will be giving us all kinds of pitiful praise of the sort you’d get watching Paralympic coverage.

I turned it off at 3-0 couldn’t stand anymore. Only G Hall and John should start at Chelsea the rest get the kids out there playing.

Less than what Ruari and Ben W have got. Tbh starting Ruari up front if he was still here would have been a better option rather than have no strikers on the pitch.

Brady is not immune from this debacle, he had the chance to sign quality players in Jan but to say he didn't is an understatement.

It’s been a dreadful season but this was a near new low. We clearly never got recruitment right even when Brady had a chance in January. Darnborough clearly the weak link and needs to go. 
 

There has been too much big money spent on big earning players who prove to be not good enough. Last time it was Uche from Turkey and this time it is Gray. Nobody could have signed them with any recent evidence that they would be a success. 
 

Yet Gray, like Uche must be one of our biggest earners. By all means take a cheap punt on a player but at Vale the trend has been to take expensive punts. I can’t think of any club that would just bring in a major wage earner and squad member in such vital positions without an obvious recent track record to go on. 
 

I guarantee Gray was probably scouted watching videos of him at Burnley six years ago.

Totally agree like many Vale fans.  If the players had tried to stop the goals it could be forgiven.  But they don't try to stop the goals - keep making the same basic mistakes week in week out.  They don't learn or even look like they are trying to learn from the errors they make.

That's 19 games in the league that we haven't scored this season
