That kid Dowman is going to be something special for Arsenal. Have to admit watching how Mansfield have had Arsenal on the run mostly this opening 20 I do wish we’d have approached our game with them the same way even if it was a respectable result for us.

Hopefully we approach tomorrows game in a similar spirit to what Mansfield are right now.

Well the Arsenal line up we faced was somewhat stronger I would say than what Mansfield have today.

Yes though not sure that would have made a difference to how Moore would have set about it.

I remember in the 1950s getting up first light and going there with my Dad to scrump field mushrooms which were plentiful in the grass around the runways.

Arsenal's line up and subs against Mansfield compared to Arsenal's line up and subs against us, so I think it's pretty clear that they definitely went stronger against us than they have today against Mansfield and even the bench was stronger for our game as they didn't have any youth players on the bench against us expect for Dowman whereas today they have 4 youth players on the bench. Tbh out of both starting 11's I would rather have the one that we faced in the Carabao Cup.

Mansfield fans must be buzzing about what their team have given for them there in that game. Thought they were brilliant.

Hopefully we can do similar tomorrow whatever the result and am sure we will.
