I'll be amazed if Carol sacks Moore on Christmas week. I mean, think of what that would say of our precious values to put someone out of work on Christmas..

Yeah it was a mistake, they quoted 3100 instead of 1300

Must be using the same abacus as our neighbours down the road

We’ve won one game at home in the league all season and that was against 10 men for 45 mns and a very harsh penalty at the end

It was against 10 men for 76 minutes. With added time we played near enough 90. Sweeney went off in the 14th.

Against 11 men we’ve scored 3 home league goals this season in 8 matches.

I have come all over with a strange and unfamiliar feeling..........

Anticipation.

Not entirely sure why, it may be that contrary to my previous belief I have come round to the feeling that "dangerous Dazzer" is going to go for the throat and treat us to a great performance and result. In fairness it may just be desperation. I had a browse back through the last few seasons results and it is simply amazing how I have unnerringly managed to miss pretty much every home win (due to either family commitments or holidays) whilst focusing in laserlike on defeats to just about every team at the foot of the table. It does seem a very long time since I have looked forward to a game and then actually did so.

Come on Vale, don't let me down......

Again.

😛😜🤪

Just my bloody luck....

I would be giving the <ovf censored> loads of <ovf censored>

Thank god I’m not on there anymore

People on here moaning about the postponement

Blackburn are in the Championship and had 2 games off already, both abandoned. Charlton have had one abandoned. If the pitch isn't playable,it isn't playable, irrespective of the division

Charlton’s was for a fan’s death mid game.

Blackburn fans have long criticised their owners’ neglect of the pitch.

What I do find annoying, is how easily matches get called off now by officials. I know a lot of the younger ones will just put this down to an old git with rose tinted glasses. But players back in the 70's did go out and play on far worse pitches than what has been called off tonight. (Although I will admit to not seeing the pitch tonight)
And don't give me that about protecting players from injury. Compared to the past, players play on absolute carpets now and still pick up more pulls and strains than they ever did.
Oh, for the good old sliding tackle in the mud [emoji846]

I had been deliberating whether to go to this... everyone in the house has got the lurgie apart from me. Wife off work sick, kids off school sick, but I'm ok so I ordered my ticket and was just about to set off and wave goodbye to my germ infested house for a bracing evening at Vale Park.

Lucky I had a read on here beforehand. Might not tell the wife and head out for the evening anyway...

Or make a big deal of missing Vale to stay at home and look after everyone. That should keep me sweet for a couple of nights off over Christmas!

Tbh judging by how the weather has gone where I live (currently blowing a gale) I think it was the right decision to call the game off

On a separate note, anyone seen that ‘Wolf of Fail Street’ going about on the socials??

Got Ryan Burge written all over it, although I have to admit it made me chuckle.
