Why put this pressure on ourselves to meet high gate targets ?

Fleetwood had just won 4 games in a row, and tonight was their most attractive game so far in their league history - they got less than 2,500 home fans (total gate 3,300 with up to 1,000 estimated Vale fans).

Fans can't be invented - they will gradually come back, but anything over 5,500 will be good for Gillingham as they have poor away support. What a cracking win tonight though - that is more important than anything. Superbly done, and congratulations to Micky, the starting eleven and all the subs and not least the tremendous following who went to the game and roared the lads on.

Vale are still giving plenty of freebie tickets away though. Why not stop the freebies and offer sensible walk up prices instead ?

 

I thought the admin had stopped all that shenannigans? Source? Not bein funny, truly interested. We need PAYING customers, not freeloaders.
