Walters is a far better player than Ojo and much younger. Ojo has had two chances already and downed tools on both occasions. With our options in the middle I don’t see where he fits in or what benefit he brings to the squad.

I think people forget then just want to move on, I can't imagine ojo thinking vale would rebound back to league one he wanted out, I thought we would of subbed players on in mass but it was treated like a proper match.

Walters should have had gametime though even if he was out of his depth he would of learnt from that, I think he would of done good even possibly got a scout report, like you I honestly believe he will be the superior player if he had the same men strength and experience as ojo.

Why is there no position in the middle? It equally drives me nuts you can't even speak about a player regardless of the issue because someone starts mentality melting.

It's like people's emotions can't handle discussion, I have even seen people threaten to quit watching vale because of it, I mean talk about being soft or needing their heads on the sand 😄

I do get the fan base can join in and knock confidence more but still...

Because it frequently veers from one direction to another massively. Being balanced is a good trait, but the problem is here on on social media, it will lead to a bunch of people jumping on either side with such vehemence that it then causes a problem. 

Social media has made people very polarised with their views. Its like an echo chamber, and when a differing view intrudes on that, its like a massive shock to the system, and human nature is to respond to it in kind.

Ojo, for me, IS a good League One player, BUT, his attitude is questionable. He's not the best thing since sliced bread, but similarly he's not the second coming of Idi Amin.

Paton is the reverse example - plenty of people think he's absolutely brilliant and will undoubtedly thrive when given a chance in a certain system of play, but he's never really threatened to make good on those promises. So again, he's not the best thing since sliced bread, BUT similarly he's not a world beater either.

In the end the only one we can trust to make a call on any player is the manager, because ultimately, its his opinion that has consequence, and none of ours

With all due respect, that’s one of the silliest posts I’ve read on here. 

I do agree with Granville, in that being balanced is a good trait - I like to think im as level headed as it gets, but in the heat of the moment we can all lose it a bit on here -  its because we are passionate about our hobby, and at the end of the day, thats all football is, something to watch and engage in which brings us enjoyment (at times 😂😂😂)

As iv said before, me ole pappy used to say "if you cant moan about work and football, you cant moan about anything"

A fit and firing Ojo can only be a good thing. 

Having four very competent CM/DMs will be essential when the inevitable injuries and suspensions mount up. Give me this over having to rely on Rakeem Harper or Jason Lowe.
