No Paton, not even subs bench 🤔

Wouldn’t surprise me if he goes out on loan, or even leaves permanently.

It doesn’t seem like Moore is a massive fan of his.

But even by his standards, that's a bizarre lineup.

Assuming 3 at the back = John, Smith, Hart - Two of those are full backs, while Heneghan sits on the bench?

Very odd.

Sam Hart is absolutely fine in a back 3. He’s played there before & it’s no issue at all. I quite like him in that role to be honest

Sang and Heneghan for me. I don’t mind Hart LCB but John at RCB is an odd choice. Or go to a back 4

He did play wide centre back at Notts albeit on the left and did a very good job so it’s not totally left field.

Looking forward to the game after the enforced break, but not totally sure about our starting line-up.  Fingers crossed 🤞 UTV!

John was excellent at Notts County at RCB. To me, he’s better in a back three than having to play left wing back.

I like him at WB. Got enough cbs available to not be playing players out of position. For me I don’t get why he’s starting over Sang or heneghan

John & Sang are very similar for me in a RCB role. So it’s just John then 😂

He signed him! Madness

Be interesting to see how Walsall do with Lowe back at Sjoke.

Come on Vale.  Need 3 points to start a good run going.
