One of the current parties showing an interest currently owns a Premier League club, but is looking to sell up and do it again with another "unfashionable" club. Bob Young doesn't like him though.

 

Steve Currrie is over the moon to be "playing" CEO as its something he has always wanted to do and is in no rush to relinquish it.

 

Brian Caudwell has requested information from Bon Young and has had several conversations with Pete Williams.

 

JCB were being lined up as sponsors by Keith Ryder, but refuse to deal with Bob Young because he acted as admin and saved a competitor.

 

Bob Young will close the Railway Paddock to save costs if the gates don't stay above 5000.

You say you don't know why anyone would take a swipe at either website but then go on to say PVO people are 'up themselves', and imply that they have 'small minds'.

I did think that myself and wasn't going to post it but then thought that i've said isn't really so bad. I've made that conclussion by visiting the website and, apart from that, some posters on there openly admit that they are and love it! I haven't criticised what's been said on PVO or criticised the way that the website is run by the site originator. That's just being rude to another webmaster...not on.

 

I've always said that there is room for more than one or even two Port Vale related websites. For a short time I was admin on both sites. OVF and PVO are both very different and I really don't see the need to poke fun or criticise another website in the way that it's happening right now on PVO. Each to their own I suppose. I'll still stand by what I said though and if that makes me small minded so be it.

 

I do have a kettle and a pot but neither are black.....sorry!

This is all a bit silly. I was in the Duke with Dyche and Gaz amongst others.

 

Gaz made a joke that if we plied him with booze and got him drunk then he'd start telling us stuff about what's going on at the SC.

 

Anything for a free pint basically.

 

Dyche went home early, about sevenish (he's not very well but he's not the sort to go on and on about it), and made up a load of silly stuff about Benson blabbing.

 

And that's about the long and short of it.

 

In the meantime, we plied Benno with loads more free booze and by closing time he'd told us everything. ;)
