I do wonder what the Smith situation is... after making the attacking changes, getting the lead but having no centre half then to come on and help see out the last 5-10 seemed baffling to me. Smudge is good enough in L2.

Someone posted family issues which I'm sure is true.

But he was in the fanzone a couple of weeks ago on match day .

So on the face of it he's out of favour completely. Seems odd he's ok to be having chats and selfies but not in the squad.

Only DM and Smith know.

But what happens if Vale stay in ninth or tenth etc etc... The happy clappers will say DM is the answer!

No match thread for Notts County I see it's Thursday afternoon , know we didn't play well v Colchester but we move on now I'd put it down to wrong starting 11 and it been a Tues night. 

Sat we have to 100 times better because I'm.sick to the teeth over past 2 years of Vale taking decent numbers away and playing absolutely atrociously and losing consistently

Folk work hard for there coin to be able go games you cannot have players not at it everyone has to give there best performance sat as in my opinion this Notts County squad will be top7 along with us 

Stoke score 6 Vale score 1 v Colchester when Paton could well have been our Cannon that night but if Moore persists with lad from Sheffield Utd he as had no goal attempts in all the time he as being on last 2 home games we along with players dropping standards after going 1 up cannot be .

We have to be in 9th or 10th to stay in that position in the first place. For me it’s about being in & around the playoffs come Xmas time, which we’ve already achieved. It’s now about cementing our place in the top 7 or trying to get in those automatic places. It’s a long old season with plenty of twists & turns, ups & downs with lots of good & bad moments along the way. Try & enjoy the ride Bill

Really?  Moore made changes to formation and team at half time that got us the lead and should’ve been a second but for our player not looking across the line.  Doesn’t that count?  Cowley basically did what any manager would do when losing away from home, threw caution to the wind and bought all his attacking subs on and went all out attack.  It’s not rocket science Nipster.

Folk who generally focus on a negative all the time are not happy clappers as a rule.  I‘m old enough to know.  As for DM, he’s not really at the front of my thoughts right now because for me we’re doing fine with a totally new team.  Folk are bashing on about the squad but a few injuries on top of what we’ve got already could have a big Impact on the team.  Fair to say we have a strong squad on paper but plenty of teams could say that in the past, it guarantees nothing.  Mansfield is a fine example.  Clough backed every season but how long has it taken them to gain promotion.  Using your thinking he should’ve been sacked long ago.
