The KR Supremacy (KR III)

I'm quite frankly getting a little bit sick of this waiting now. Someone must be keeping us in the dark. We've heard very very little from the FL about everything going on.

It has been mentioned that for whatever reason the Rangers and Pompey issues may be affecting us, but I do not buy that as each scenario is different, and there are enough people working for the FL to attend to both clubs' sagas.

My greatest fear is that the other thing all parties are very quiet on, is actually connected to the lack of a takeover. That thing is the probable legal proceedings against former directors. If this is the case, or further points deductions a possibility?

Another theory I have is that the FL simply don't like how 'successful' our administration has been. We are essentially on the verge of starting the season in a very healthy position compared to how we finished the last - are they concerned we haven't been punished sufficiently (which would be ludicrous, but in-fitting with their dreadful treatment of Luton).

You might be onto to something there.

The more successful the administration exit the better it is for the FL.Gives them more time for other work.

Ludicrous. Are you seriously saying that the FL may be doing this in spite?

If that were the case I would expect there would be huge legal implications and surely action taken by Keith Ryder I would think along with all the players. Backed I would imagine by te administrators as they would surely know that kr has jumped through all the necessary hoops. And I'm sure after that the fl would never meet in the uk again as I am sure a few fans would gate crash there party!

Just wish people would realise that it's not the fans that would suffer so much as it would be the staff and players!

I think how they view it is they don't like seeing teams come out of administration -debts cleared, in the same league, with a better squad and a new season to look forward to. I reckon they want to prevent 'administration' appearing as an easy route to other clubs.

Of course we all know that's bull**** as it is the fans at Vale Park have already been heavily punished very heavily over the past years, but so were Luton's fans, yet the FL just couldn't resist making life even harder for them.

The irony is that the FL did sweet FA in stopping Miller stepping in at the Vale despite his history at Luton.

At the end of the day we're in the same boat as yesterday, the day before that, the week before that & the month before that. We wait until it's either dead or done, Simple.

The boat will be sinking soon if its not sorted.

This is the email I have sent to enquiries'football-league.co.uk

Dear Sirs,

As a concerned supporter of Port Vale FC I would like to know why the green light has not been given for the takeover of Keith Ryder to become chairman.

At the moment we cannot sell shirts because we cannot announce a sponsor, we cannot fetch season tickets because we cannot announce a sponsor and the season is less than 2 weeks away.

Maybe if the Football league had been so long winded with Perry Deakin and Peter Miller and checked them out as thoroughly then my club would not be in the situation it is in now.

We aren't Notts Forest or Watford who seem to have had their funding approved almost overnight but we are a football club who have existed for nearly 140 years and deserve better treatment than we are getting from yourselves.

Yours disgustedly,

Darren Holdcroft 9Mr)

It may not do anything but at least some idiot may realise that we do exist and before anyone says it may delay the takeover further, it can't delay it any worse than it has done so far.
