Looks like Moores set up is 4 -4-2 based on friendlies .

Like it if Hart and Clark bomb on and carry ball with intent to actually want to score then Vale should be a excellent watch next season.

Good teams score from anywhere .

In order be a good team you have to have players who are brave with the ball for example saka last night chislett for his first goal v NT he set it up himself with world class skill and  finished it like Cantona.

I thought it was 4-2-3-1

Sang Smith Jones Wynne

Ojo Grant

Plant Tolaj Curtis

Loft

Clark Debrah Hall Hart

Croasdale Triallist/Lowe

Chislett Garrity Triallist

Stockley/Dipepa.

I think there are a couple more gaps to fill at full back, and out wide.

I still think, given what we've seen, it's likely we might have to start the season with Iacovitti, Jones, Grant, Lowe and Loft still here, but they're not going to play that big a role.

Are we playing in black shorts and socks this season ???

I thought we were playing in all white this season ?

They looked like training shorts and socks I thought.

The official kit is all white.

Maybe they just had the shorts but not the shorts and socks yet?

Think they looked much better than white IMO

The players in them look a stone o/w and as poor finishers as last season

I assume you didn’t go to both fixtures Geoff?

I thought one or two looked quite trim compared to last year

Thought Ben Garrity looked as though he had spent every day of the close season working weights in the gym.

Super fit.

Expected nothing less from Ben Garrity. Fantastic professional 💥

I see that the club have said now for anyone going tomorrow just a reminder that it will be mainly the youth team/Academy players on show

It could be good to see how players like Brazier etc are now progressing as he could be one offered a deal over this coming season

Also Agnero who some at the club are saying is class for a young age

Does anybody know if we have any big pacey CB's in the Academy to keep an eye on ?

Drew 2-2 behind closed doors against Rushall Olympic today.

Drew 2-2 in a behind closed doors friendly against Rushall.

Mitch Clark only lasted 11 minutes, and there was no Chislett who went off early against Kidsgrove. Hope they’re just precautions.

first goal conceded was a sloppy headed back pass… not DJ this time though!

Two trialists played and one of them scored our second. Anyone with any insider info?

That’s a worry.

Tolaj 3 in 3 games, plus Trialist.

Trialist one of the current ones or someone new?

Mitch coming off is a concern. 100% need to bring another right back in unless Moore has already decided he is sticking with Sang. Tolaj is gonna be some player for us this season 🔥
