Did anybody read the opening post? Or did you all read the thread title and assume it is a rumour?

 

I just hope Bob Young doesn't come on the radio later and say exactly what he has said since the end of May.

The rumours fill the void left by the lack of information. Today's statement actually says nothing. It gives no reason for the hold up apart from paperwork? If KR is the all singing, all dancing prospective owner we are led to believe he would be in control of Port Vale now. It is obvious something is not quite right with his bid and the football league either want it changing or clarifying.

 

Either that or he has got no money! Time to bring that gas feller back!

There's still something that doesn't quite add up.

 

I can't help but feel that one of the three parties (KR, The FL, BY) is being economical with the truth.

 

Hopefully we'll get something with some substance quickly.

Agree with Santa.... Pete being an admin on hear could you go back into the archives and flash up some of the links that were abound when Deakinturf were saving the club?

Either the Football League are constantly moving the goalposts, or KR simply can't provide the information/proof they need.

BY needs to make a proper statement tonight. We don't need more ''next few day'' ********. We need proper answers to what is happening. If it's gone ***s up then tell us, if the FL are messing us about, tell us. If everything is sorted then tell us! Just don't fob us off with more rhetoric.

The info that Rayzer posted may be incorrect but there are many fans who have concerns. BY will have to sound very convincing tonight.

I wonder if the FL are trying to write a clause in the contract that if Vale enter admin in x number of years then KR is personally liable ?

I honestly believe that the FL are trying to make a example of the club.The SC have said the league are extra cautious in the light of Rangers and Portsmouth disasters,Rangers dont fall into the FL jurisdiction and Portsmouth downfall started in the greedy premiership.If KR is not suitable to take the club forward then the league and the administrators should have dismissed his bid weeks ago. Its all very worrying,has the transfer embargo been lifted, if not whos paying the players.Can we still be deducted points for next season if the league dont ratify the deal with KR.
