Being a vale through and through makes him a great coach obviously. And did he stick with us through thick and thin despite having offers of work elsewhere? But he is a great and brilliant guy so it doesn't matter about all the important stuff which you didn't mention. Is he a good coach?

No problem with positive comments. Its just depressing how the only things people can say positively about a number of staff is that they are 'vale through and through'. Same was said about glover, bratt, Oliver etc.

Its great that you like him. Its sad that you can't give much to say why he is good for the club.

Mark Grew has stayed with vale because no other club would touch him I afraid. From what Ive heard, he's not that great as a person either (but thats only what I have heard from someone who has had experience with him) Would vale miss him if he left, no. I just dont see what you think is so great about him. He has done nothing with the keepers we have had over the years. Im not slagging him off personally, I just get why you think he is so great?
