Grewe's greatest asset is his communication skills and the ability to reach out to connect with various personalities.it is not by accident that he speaks to the press so much.he has clearly been instructed to to this by Adams.he is doing a fantastic job and is so much more than just a goalkeeping coach.

Mark Grew has stayed with vale because no other club would touch him I afraid. From what Ive heard, he's not that great as a person either (but thats only what I have heard from someone who has had experience with him) Would vale miss him if he left, no. I just dont see what you think is so great about him. He has done nothing with the keepers we have had over the years. Im not slagging him off personally, I just get why you think he is so great?

I would be interrested who that someone is you have heard from, I worked with Grewy for 16 years and I am telling you he is a good coach, the goal keepers he worked with and young lads all respected Grewy,he called a spade a spade if you liked or not,if they make a mistake he's there with is arm around them,but if they continue to make mistakes look out he's gunning for you, Grewy top man you take it from me.
