Mark Grew has stayed with vale because no other club would touch him I afraid. From what Ive heard, he's not that great as a person either (but thats only what I have heard from someone who has had experience with him) Would vale miss him if he left, no. I just dont see what you think is so great about him. He has done nothing with the keepers we have had over the years. Im not slagging him off personally, I just get why you think he is so great?

Yea the goal keeping at the club has come on leaps and bounds and made the club a lot of money under Grewes leadership.

Mark grew doesnt usually get the credit that he deserves, in my opinion, he has stuck with the vale through thick and thin, he is an inspiration role model of our club. He is a great guy, and I think that he his a birlliant guy. Well done to mark grew. You are class! :):):):):):):):):)

Is it any wonder we r in the bottom league,the amount of criticism our people at the club get.

Grew can only coach the goalies the rest is up to them there desire and application is what will help them achieve what they r destined too.

No amount of coaching will make someone better that comes from within.

I don't know grew but he his Vale through and through and hope the goalkeepers learn from there own mistakes.

 

So its pointless paying to have him as coach either way? Because if those who think he is a poor coach are wrong, by your logic the coaching makes no difference anyway?

But hey, there we are again, he is vale through and through, so it doesn't matter. The goalies should learn from their own mistakes.

We seem to have many goalkeepers over the years that start off promising and gradually under Grews coaching get worse. I've no idea how hes stayed employed by Vale for all these years.

 

I will agree with the guy in this thread about the banter though, Grew does come out with some funny comments on the training ground.

No problem with positive comments. Its just depressing how the only things people can say positively about a number of staff is that they are 'vale through and through'. Same was said about glover, bratt, Oliver etc.

Its great that you like him. Its sad that you can't give much to say why he is good for the club.

I agree with Grebo - Joe Hart is cack.

 

I'd much rather have somebody who is Vale through and through than a coach who's knows his stuff. It's all about application and determination. No skill required.
