DM came across really well. I am now convinced that we won't be relegated.

With regards to 4 friendlies last pre season, having Kidsgrove and Newcastle on the same same day means that one of those cannot be counted. That was a stupid decision. Wasn't Grimbsy 'away' a 3 x 30 minute farce as well? Hardly match preparation. Loved DM's Japan comment.

Some deluded posts on here this morning. Vale are league two and Bannan won't even think of coming here... Money talks he would probably join another league one club. 

Maybe asking Gibbons back on a 12 year deal and Stone is the realistic possibity. 

Uche is a carthorse... Get rid.. But he won't... Would have been better keeping Wilson!!

Gibbo would be worth giving a 1 year deal 

I think 12 years would.be a bit much tho 🤔

He's a fighter, always give 100% 

And he's a local lad who knows what

it means to wear the vale badge

Stone ended up 3rd choice at midtable Notts County. Think that tells me all I need to know.

All sounds fairly positive.

I was chatting to a mate who's an Albion fan, and he said they still love Big Dave.

I mentioned about the number of Vale fans saying "erm" all the time, and he (and I) both thought that it's perhaps because he's a Brummie that he doesn't come across well.

Not everyone can be a good public speaker. What matters is him getting the players organised and motivated to win matches and get us promoted.
