I'd still be looking to sign a LB, another winger or two and another striker if i was Adams.

So you would start yates over duffy?

Loft will play in that position. I really think Vale should sign Kris Taylor again and use him as a left sided midfielder. If I was Adams I would take the gamble on him, he's good going forward and can pitch in with a few.

I'd be more than happy to finish off our Summer buying with the additions of both Dickinson and Harrad, would boost our attacking options considerably then.

 

If we could bring in a left-sided player on loan (perhaps a young hungry lad from the Championship?), then that would be a bonus.

There is hopefully one or two more deals to come before the first game. In Micky we trust.

I dont think so- JMW and Taylor are both decent left wingers.

I still think we will play 3-5-2. With Murphy and Duffy both playing the holding role to allow Loft and the wingers to get forward. Wingers won't have to do much tracking back then.

Haha i forgot about Duffy! I actually think Yates is a steady League 2 fullback but yeah, from what i've heard about Duffy, i'd play him over Yates for now.

 

It's nice that there's finally a bit of competition for places now. My only concern is left back. If we only sign one left back, we'll be in trouble if they're injured/suspended/out of form.
