Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Featured Replies

We definitely need cover in both full back positions for me. Someone like Kyle John who can do both would be great. We all know RB is a problem, but if Hart gets injured (or worse doesn’t perform) who else do we have at left back?
Dan Jones.. [emoji102](I've got my tin hat ready [emoji3549])

Simple message to the numb-nuts that need a scapegoat:

Players that you might not have rated in L1, might be good in L2.

Let's see where we are after 10 games.

If they perform poorly they aren’t a scapegoat. Who out of last season was a scapegoat? All players that were criticised got criticised because we were <ovf censored> as a collective and they were even worse as individuals. Loft, Massey, jones, Lowe, and grant were atrocious last season, they weren’t scapegoated. They weren’t good enough.

Let’s see where we are I agree but if we start the season and Dan jones makes a few horrific errors again and gets critism, that isn’t scapegoating, that’s poor performance

I agree some do take it down a very negative hole, but if something is wrong it needs to be made clear, that's just reality. The alternative is to just be delusional, the club cant operate on delusion.

I cant see sang having another contract with us anyway personally. Its like some of the fanbase are that soft you cant point out obvious stuff or they will cry.

What’s the problem with the club operating on delusion?  The fans have done it for years.

Be interesting see who starts tomoz .

Boo boys give it a rest get behind all  players even those who last season annoyed the majority.

It's gone history  so if Sang ,Jones ,ojo play tomoz give them full backing like you give your mate Smith .

The player heckling and moaning at any little errors they make as to stop .

Watching on firestick tomoz I expect hear 1300 encouraging Vale supporters , to help players play well result well its irrelevant as long as performances are good the finishing position of the club over the season will be very good if performance levels are mainly good to very good all games .

Exactly this, but many players remaining from last season will have very little credit in the bank compared to the new lads.

Why do you think that ?
History and recent history tells me he’s not up to it

Has he played for us in Lge 2?

If we are playing on the front foot which we are hoping this season then he could be a nice overlapping fullback. We do know the best attribute in his locker is being able to cross from open play, he puts some beauties in there even if strangely his dead ball ones are usually hopeless. Defensively the onus will be on Heneghan and Hall to be talking to him a lot so as he at least is in the right position when defending our box.

I’ve said it all summer long. Sang will be a key player with his delivery in open play this season.

Fans need to look at the positive of his play rather than the negative of defensively not great.

I don’t hear Liverpool crying every 5 minutes they need a new RB because he can’t defend.

Big difference to Trent providing 15+ goals / assists and maybe 1 /2 defensive errors to Sang who got what 1/2 assists and countless defensive errors.

I like him and hope DM Dosent play him at Rb as it’s no good for him and I think teams will target him

Big difference putting balls into Loft and Uche last season. Assists are only as good as those who make the movement to get on them. Both were like statues in the box. In fact Loft quite often didn’t even bother to get in the box after his layoffs.

It’s up to the DM to find a way to ensure Sag isn’t exposed if he plays RB.

Got a feeling that Sang won't be anywhere near as bad as everyone makes it. It's getting a bit silly, at this point.

I have always said I am one who thinks he isn't as bad as most seem to think, hopefully he will do a job for us in League 2,lets face it,it looks like he will start at RB tomorrow.... so lets all back him if he does

Won’t need to defend
