That team sheet is all you need to justify sacking flitcroft and his recruitment team.

And who recruited Flitcroft on the back of a 3 hour "chat"?

I know we are crying out for strikers, but that team shows that the recruitment issue goes far deeper than that. We have no fullbacks in the team, and if Clarke hadnt been back on the bench we wouldnt have one in the squad. Beyond negligent especially having needed a couple since the summer, and id argue we were short the season before. We have no strikers in the squad bar a 17 year old who shouldn’t be getting the game time he is because we have no other options. We have more than enough number 10’s and so we are having to play some of them out of position due to inadequacies elsewhere. And by all means we should be dropping Ojo for his shocking attitude since his mate got sacked, but we cant because we have nobody to replace him. If a single centre mid cant be dropped becasue we dont have anyone else, then that is a catastrophic failure beyond negligence.

To be honest, all season we have been trying to get our so called forwards to score goals and they have all (I say all through gritted teeth) failed miserably. So playing no forwards can only be an improvement. Can't be any worse.
So happy with that team.

I'm loving your optimism! But, as you quite rightly comment....our so called "forwards" having actually been scoring profusely!  Let's see what this team and shape can produce.

Carol I assume? Why? Im saying he should be sacked, not defending him being in the role.

Carol, fraudcroft pulled the wool over her eyes and has been doing it ever since.  Now taking the piss out of her openly with his recruitment and suggesting we are Championship ready, need a sports complex in the coming years.

No we need proper players on the pitch that can do a job.  Strikers scoring, defenders defending and midfield that are capable to creating things.  You managed to bring in fragile players with injury history and wonder why they play a game or two and then break down for a couple of months.

You have to give him the ball. All we were doing 2nd half was booting it upfieid hoping someone was near enough to give chase.

Very true it was shambolic .

Today least there's energy in the team.

I'm looking forwards to it

Plants going score

Would be very surprised if he came back. Have spoke to several ex-members of staff excommunicated by the current regime. All are very bitter and do not come near the ground any more. Very sad as some had20+ years involved with the club.

Heard the same. Repeatedly.

We all make mistakes. It's the fact that she continues to stand by her man despite everything. She's either extremely dumb, utterly deluded or she just doesn't want to own up to her biggest mistake and bruise her ever growing ego. Now as a successful businesswoman she's far from the former. So which of the other two is it?

You have to hope that DM has been promised that he will be allowed to build HIS own squad with players he knows will fit into the system he wants to play

Lets hope for no major meltdown today at 5pm as surely no one can seriously expect us to win here, this has to be marked down as a one we would lose in my book....that then leaves 5 wins and a couple of draws out of 12 games left..............oh

Someone I’m close to used to be a scout at vale. Scouted some great players for us including a couple that went to big sides recently. As soon as fraudcroft came in he was sent packing.

Doesn't seem make a difference whether we have or haven't.

I do wish she would allow a manager to set up his own scouting network tbh

For a lady who is very work savvy and driven - must be for building up a successful company and then selling it for a couple of quid, she has been fooled by fraudcroft and believes his hype.  She will soon be in the same category as the great blue one for running the club down.

It feels she is now totally hyped up by all the awards for community projects she has been given and is hunting more of them as she needs that rush of the next new award.  To such an extent she has taken her eyes off the very reason for buying the club and has totally forgotten what its like being a Vale fan.

If feels from her open letter she believes she is now above the common Vale fan.  I get asked to give chats on radio and rub shoulders with other club owners - who needs to be around the riff raff now.

The fans are totally wrong for saying things about my beautiful and honest fraudcroft and how he has ruined Vale through season upon season poor recruitment.  They should be told they are naughty naughty fans.
