These next 2 home games are absolutely massive! It’s not looking good but back to back games at Vale Park there’s a chance to pick up some much needed points! Depending on who’s available I would go…

                          Ripley

   Debrah       Smith      Lopata       Yak

                              Ojo

         Mighten    Garrity      Chislet

                  Loft             Wilson

Subs. Leutweiler, Clark, Plant, Gore, Weir, Jones & Sang

We just have to hope one of the teams we're about to play manage to be even worse than we are on the day. Because we will be woeful in front of goal. Will have a period of the game where we gift chances away to the opposition when they put us under the slightest bit of sustained pressure. The same as just about every other game for the last X amount of months.

If everyone's fit I'd stick with the same side as Tuesday. I think we possibly need a bit of consistency in selection. I actually thought Sang did OK at RB and Jones is the best of (not many) options as LB.

I guess the main issue would be if Jones is not fit. If he isn't, I personally wouldn't play Iacovitti at LB as the post above. In fact, I'd rather have Lopata on the bench then the Yak. I dunno who comes in if Jones is unfit as Grant doesn't look to be the answer.

The only change I would consider is Garrity for Weir but it may be too soon to start Ben.

Hopefully the return of Clark and Plant strengthens the bench too.

I'd also love it if Ryan Loft can get a goal, any goal, even if it's off his little toe and takes a huge deflection. He's putting the effort in now, I think a goal would do his confidence the world of good.

it'll be 4 weeks since Gore's 2 week injury on Saturday. Has he decided pro-football is not for him or what?

He was back training last week but limped out, maybe another injury!

Lopata has been our best defender in the games he’s played. Missed him last night I understand your thinking about yak at lb but if Jones is injured which it looks I don’t see any other options apart from Clark who prob isn’t quite ready yet or Grant & I don’t want to see Grant anywhere near the squad he’s terrible

Debrah Smith Lopata Clark

Yak at LB if no Clark

Sang at RB if no Debrah

Lowe, Massey and Grant unused subs.

Focus on defending, with the best defenders on the pitch, don't ask them to do anything else

Cant wait to see the mighty black and white back on the wembley of the north. The form table doesnt lie and we are a force to be reckoned with. Cant see anything but a 4:0 and the sound of we love you flickers we do ringing around the terraces .

Yep, I can understand that view on Yak as the next, least worst option. Does anyone have an update on Jones?

Perhaps Mitch Clark is an option at LB but it would all depend on his fitness? He's back in training.

I struggle to see where Grant fits in anywhere, there's not a game this season I can recall him having a positive influence in any position
