Comparing points per game stats on Transfermarkt, Moore is way above both Kennedy and Bonner. He’s averaged 1.7 PPG at two clubs (Wednesday & Doncaster) but had a mare at Huddersfield (0.38 PPG)
Bonner - 1.38 PPG as full time Cambridge manager
Kennedy - 1.47 PPG at Lincoln

I'm pretty sure that when he was standing on the Wembley turf, 9 months ago, in front of  44,000  Sheffield Wednesday fans, after guiding them to  promotion to the Championship, that he took a little time out, looked around Wembley Stadium and thought to himself "I can not wait to bring Port Vale back here"

I'd take Moore in a heartbeat honestly, I just didn't think he was a viable or realistic option. Either not being interested or being too expensive. 

He struggled with Huddersfield but has had three other very decent spells at other clubs.

Quite a lot have struggled at Huddersfield as well to be fair in recent times. 12 managers in the last 5 years is bonkers 😂
