That was much better. Direct and open. We're playing Loft to his strengths. Stop giving Smith the ball. The backline looks much better with the high-line. 

Jones is weak. Garrity on for Weir.

I’ll take that. Don’t know what some expect, we have league 2 players so we aren’t going to blow any side away. 
Loft and Ojo done well, think jones has done well as well. Still concerned with our defending at times. Mighten looks extremely dangerous, no idea how he hasn’t started until tonight. Hang in there I fancy us nick this 1-0 late on

Wow - 0.0 at the moment.  Who would have thought that.

Formation is working with a 4 at the back.

We look better set up and have ventured into their half a lot.

Still has some heart stopping moments where defence has make silly errors trying to get the ball out.

Come on Vale.  Just need to put a chance away and see how that affects Reading players.

Looked, like we have a plan. Loft, Weir, Mighten and Smith done okay. Dan Jones seems to have issues (arguing a lot). 

Unfair to single players out, so they all get a 7.

Playing a bit better but lacking any threat up front bar Mighten and a bit panicky at times in defence. Hoping we get a win if not to give the team some confidence, it does seem to be lacking.

I'll get back to my work anyway. I'll come back half an hour into the second half and we'll be one or two nil down and Loft will still be looking about as lethal as a soggy pancake. No blame at all aimed towards Moore though. The squad is woeful and he's not to blame.

Better from Vale due to playing 4 at the back and not giving space to the opposition in dangerous areas down the flanks and with Ojo and Lowe protecting the space in front of the back 4.

Mighten looks lively when we can get the ball to him in good areas.

Much better half that. We look a lot more solid begs the question why did we stick with 3-5-2 for so long 

It’s a slight improvement but we still dreadful and lacking quality 🥲

That’s what we are. That’s all we can do. We know the team isn’t remotely good enough thanks to DF. 0-0 at half time against a side with 4 wins in 6 home games ain’t too shabby.
