The fans will keep turning up, mate.

The diehards will be there Saturday and will back the players. They want to see a bit of fight.

The fans will also get very annoyed on forums post-game - not directing their frustration at the players, but venting on a website with other Vale fans.

Yep you got me there however  ...

I am no lover of Flitcroft and his unchanging 3-5-2 mate  but i can't just wave the white flag.

Flitcroft is like a golfer who believes he can't have been wrong even though the putt is missed over and over again.

However, DM has gone with 4 at the back tonight and if he is going to change from bloody 3-5-2 then he and the players, will get my total support from here on in no matter what the score.

hope that makes a bit of sense for two clearly conflicting statements as you pointed out.

We've lost 30 out of 53 in the League.

Over the course of the last 53 games, we've picked up 10 fewer points than anyone else in League 1.

Carol's letter ticking off a bunch of made-up, retrospective targets conspicuously didn't mention wins, losses, and points. I wonder why.

Who isn't giving total support? Total support isn't not saying things are crap when they are crap. You can hope and want Vale to win games and do well but also criticise aspects of the football club constructively, at the same time. Or do you believe you deserve a big pat on the back because you won't say anything is rubbish at the club? Maybe a fruit basket?
