At the end of the day i guess we will find out by the calibre of player we bring in and if results continue to not go our way and we keep AC then well maybe something in it.

My personal view is that if it was so bad then i dont think she would want to keep losing money and would put us up for sale to recoup the majority of the money

It’s not that bad, it’s simply managing cash flow. At a football club your income is very much up and down depending on your home fixtures. You only have to look at the number of home games postponed so far to see the club missed out on expected income. This invite manages your expenditure for services required to host games throughout the season. Wages tend to come out of the budget driven by cash in the bank at the behind the season from season ticket sales.

A large number of SME’s have been doing the same since Covid. If you can put a business back without putting your service or the other business at risk that’s what you do.

if it was Smurf doing it there would be protests.

Would there? Most fans don't take a great interest in behind the scenes issues like this.

I'm inclined to think Carol runs the business responsibly and with respect for staff and suppliers.

Just out of interest where has this 40% come from? AC current run as permanent PV manager is 33% isn't it from 39 games and i would be interested in the percentage over the last 3 months from late september?

On the subject of Wild(yes i am in his camp mainly because of the job he is doing on a low budget and those are the ones to keep an eye on) I liked Taylor as well who went Bristol Rovers and Duff but back to Wild,Barrow finished 22nd the season before he joined, then he lead them to 9th in his first season and now he currently has them 4th,so I am interested in why if needs be we shouldn't target a manager doing a good job right now and as i have said before maybe wozza and proc will put a word in.

All still pretty pointless really as AC is still our manager

Why do u always ignore it when I call u out for talking <ovf censored>?

It was someone very close to Robbie who told me. You never seem to say where your info is from?

Yeah I'm sure that he'd be great.

I was just interested to understand if anyone had suggested Wild before he had his stint at Barrow.  Would the fans calling for Crosby's head now be happy with appointing an unproven maganger from non league, it wasn't so long ago that we did similar employing both Lee Sinnott and Neil Aspin, both of whom had great records at the time but were not so good here.

Even some of the comments in this thread are suggesting that this type of manager is the cheap option!

They probably wouldn't tbf but he has now proven himself at Barrow

You know what else would have helped? Not incompetently bottling a 2-0 lead to reach the next round of the FA Cup. Or actually showing up against Middlesbrough instead of the snivelling cowardly lost the second it kicked off performance we actually got.

Too right. He should have been sacked straight after that game. I’m honestly amazed he wasn’t for incompetence.

The 40% is because he won 2 out of 5 as Northern Ireland under 21 manager.

Somebody referred to it.
