MA must be going ballistic and what about those poor *******s that "signed" for us. I feel really sorry for them.

 

I think if Mr.Tomorrow doesn't finalise very soon these "signed" players may be signing for someone else.Hope not,but in the end they have to look after there own interests.

Can someone confirm the following:

 

1. How long does it take to send a BACS payment? I thought you could send an immediate one?

 

2. Is there a limit on the the amount you can send with a BACS payment?

From memory BACS takes three days it is normally used for standing orders/direct debits. It itself does not have a limit but individual participating banks do. CHAPS I recall allows higher payments..possibly unlimited and is more suited to one off payments

 

When we sold our house last year it took a week for a transfer of the deposit from our buyer who had his account in Australia..not sure what method he used

 

But it's been a while since I worked on BACS/CHAPS systems

I bet he isn't impressed how the club has been ran in the short term. This could be one of the problems holding up the deal. Would you want a club with no safety certificate and £1,000s spending on the groud to even play a match.

I said the same the other day Santa.I think he may have been left high 'n dry by someone and has been trying to find someone else to go in with him,like you say.It doesn't make a lot of sense what's going on if he's on his own.This deal should have been concluded long ago.

I'm not normally alarmist, but alarm bells are ringing very loudly now with the news that the friendlies are to be played behind closed doors and the first indication from BY that the club may face extinction. Things need sorting NOW.
