We finished just outside the play offs with loads of distractions and a points deduction. 4 or 5 additions and we will be up there. League 2 is a lot weaker this season compared to last.

 

I expect Plymouth to become again the club they were. Rotherham have a new stadium and momentum. Wycombe are a yo yo team and will be a force again in league 2. Oxford have the support to develop and Northampton won't want to be down the bottom again. Torquay and Southend missed out on promotion via the playoffs having finished 4/5 and I can't see them being weaker. Fleetwood will be a reasonable force if they retain their players. It looks like a close even division to me, which is good in one sense but not easy.

remember those two pre-micky?? griff was a no hope right back, and collins was a lightweight centre half wasnt he? you cant argue he hasnt brough our players on no end. circa Loft, even richards, griff, dodds. all of them look twice the players under micky

Griff played emergency right back because sinnott didn't think we needed to sign any fullbacks. And collins was head and shoulders our best player in the sinnott and glover days. If anything his form dropped more this season. So I'd say griff improved, and collins didn't. What he needs to show is that he can replace them.

The team needs to be much better and it has got worse. Micky has a big task on his hands to match the poor accomplishments of the last few seasons. Why oh why would Rico stay and struggle single-handedly to win all our points?

im not at all worried, i was perplexed by his contract offers to the existing players but im over that now.

 

its a time of year when players move, shrews have just lost 3 of their promotion team, one of them has joined rotherham in the league below them

Glover actually said at a SC meeting that Griff was definitely not a full back.
