What is it? Do you have a link?

Sadly I don't.  Its being done by the Supporters Club.  You pay £100 to join and you get

  • A certificate of membership personally signed by John himself.
  • Priority booking for forthcoming statue fundraising events.
  • A signed copy of the John Rudge biography (anticipated September 2023).
  • Discounted price for certain merchandise associated with the statue fundraising process.
  • Free entry into a draw to win a bronze maquette of the statue worth over £4,000.
  • VIP invitation to the statue unveiling ceremony

Chronic case, i'm afraid! Think it calls for a medicinal G&T, steak, chips, cold beer and red wine to put it right.

I was at the club earlier and picked up a mug, what a gent rudgy is, was holding court with anyone and everyone.

I'm too young to really remember the Rudge years, but you can't help but feel a bit overcome in his presence.

I hope we get this statue done while he's still with us. It's the least us fans can do for what he brought to us.

The Rudge era was fantastic to watch, the man was everywhere there was a game on, watching all players whether league players or non league players, plucking out gems for very little money and club able to sell on at profit, shame today's so called scouts don't do this
