Why is it taking the Football League so long to formally approve KRs takeover? I'm hearing from a reliable source that it could be early July, which means it would have taken well over 3 months to make a decision, which is pathetic.

Why isn't it on that agenda? I don't understand that - thats weeks and weeks after the CVA - Fatman & Robin's fit & proper persons (lol) approval only took days so it can't be that - this delay makes no sense at all to me.

There is a limit to the number of items on the agenda of any meeting, but it appears likely we will make June. In the case of Rangers in the SPL, different rules apply when there are 2 massive teams in a league and the rest are small. It appears likely that the rules will be changed so that Rangers will stay in the SPL, because the other teams rely on thier fans income and the TV money. Obviously commercial aspects come before sporting principles in that type of league.

Normally the FA meet on the first of the month but this month I believe its the 14th with all of the FA stuff thats gone on, Hodgson, FA CUP final arrangements etc, etc.

There's a lot of extra stuff these days I think in addition to the fit & proper persons test, pertaining specifically to teams that come out of administration. It's not the same as a new director joining an existing board.

 

The FA won't just hand over the football share or whatever it's called. They will have to be satisfied with budgets, forecasts, projections, etc.

You'd think the FL could manage more than a meeting a month if they're that busy. Haven't they heard of video conferencing? Staying in admin costs you know. They're about as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

It is not thier fault we are in admin, not the fans fault either, but they have jobs outside as well.

It's their rules that require us to go through them to get rubber stamped out of admin. But okay, the rulers of the country's number one sport administer it in their spare time. So, that's alright then. Thank you for your charity FL. We wouldn't want professionals in charge would we?

You would think that they would have a separate group of experts who could just specialise in this one area for them,which imo would get things going a lot quicker for any clubs coming out of admin.

Most organisations hold monthly meetings to deal with similar matters, otherwise admin costs would rise. This is not routine, there are not many admins a year, and it is a serious offence. Ryder will have to prove the Vale can be properly run etc. Compared to other clubs Admin has gone smoothly, we need a little patience. There are 71 other clubs in the FL, plus Fleetwood and ANO to be vetted also.
