New Pitch ?

Every time this point is made it seems to be ignored, all we hear is silence.  Anyone out there? 

No I'm 100% in agreement with you. We played some great stuff on a cabbage patch in those days. The Stoke cup game was played on an awful pitch yet was a terrific game. Might help if we stopped faffing around playing it across the back 4 until we lose it

You’re right and fans who jeered on here that stuffing it full of sand was a stupid idea, took a lot of flack with people saying all clubs do it and it works etc.

Terrific entertainment yes, but equally a very scrappy game by modern standards.

The thing is, what was acceptable 20 years ago is not anymore. It is not just that it cuts up the pitch is SO slow. Plus for the last few games we have not used it to our advantage. The opposite. The oppo have played it far better going direct while we piddle around with it and inevitably give it away.
