Am i the only one who thinks we can get buy without Richards?

 

As much as i rate him, i genuinely think dodds is better up top!! or i think there are others at this level who can do similar on less wedge!!

 

and would free up a lot of cash (im guessing he is the highest earner)

 

That said i do think he is good and would want to loose him....but are we in this mess cus we are paying peeps like him too much?

 

Also, massive cudos that he wants to stay loyal.....and fight it out with us!!!

Richards, Shuker, Griffith and Loft are must keeps. The rest are probably replaceable. Although Dodds has been a very good professional for Vale and is technically a much better footballer than many in league 2. He has put in a fair few match winning performances, but his lack of influence has also cost us a fair few points as well. Also, his away performances have been generally better than his efforts as Vale Park so that may skew opinion somewhat.

If it came to a toss up between losing Doddsy and the 'Sneyd Dniper' or a proven 20 goal season striker there really is no choice!!
