Burge impressed me at Tranmere !!!!!!!!

 

 

Roe hasnt been given a chance yet, we'll need him now Collins is leaving.

 

 

Martin has impressed me;

in his first season under glover, he was the reason why we stayed up in my opinion.

Second season he impressed me, however he is extremely low in confidence. He can get his confidence back no problemo.

Also his Sheffield United performance.

 

The reason we stayed up? We stayed up comfortabley, Martin isnt as good as Tommo and he is a weak goalkeeper. Roe should be knowhere near the 1st team, hes garbage, and burge looks decent but hes had a bad injury all season.

Burge may have decent ability but he's lightweight and plays like a whimp, not what's required in League Two. Danny Whitaker was the same at times for us in League One, but he was a far better player.

 

The signings made in the summer have mostly turned out to be extremely dissapointing. I do see some potential in Ben Williamson though from what bit I've seen of him, at least he has a bit of pace and directness, but he really needs a run of games in the side he's not likely to get anytime soon. (the injury hasn't helped him of course)

 

Shuker and Marshall were a step in the right direction.

Burge has a worse injury record than Lee Matthews and Michael Walsh combined. Decent in the game at Tranmere, crap in his other appearance.

 

Roe should have made an impact by now.

I expect more leavers before the process is over, thats the nauture of a player. Not many Like Chris Birchall or Chris Suker any more who will stick around or play for free.

Yeah, he's done pretty well, but he's only found himself a place in the side because Gareth Owen has been garbage this season. It took MA far too long to realize that he had become a liability.
