Not taking shots at all Andy, like you said its the best offer you "knew about" at the time.Everyone fell for Bratt and his 2001 for us all cr4p and bought into it and look what happened.I suppose i'm trying to say that just because someone said it then it must be true?

More often than not it isnt, but the more people say the same it somehow becomes the truth. In my opinion MO just likes hearing his own name, just be carefull what you wish for.We did the same getting rid of Sir Coates and it very nearly ruined us. Oh how wrong we were:unsure:doh:

One big difference between Coates then and Coates now - Bet365 and all the £££ it brings in. This he has invested wisely and it shows in a side that looks like it'll stick around in the Prem for a while.

Whether Mo Chaudry's (rumoured) bid will be the best one is an open question. Personally I'd like to look objectively at all the options before stating a preference - whether Mo or not.

If Mo's the best bid then I'll support it. If it isn't I won't. Simple really.

You were a mid table championship club when they left. When they took over you were in danger of going under. It is good to see your turn around I just hope we have a good turn around aswell.

We were also in danger of going under when they left(sound familiar).

I also hope you do too, regardless of what people might think of me.

£249k to Robbie is like a few hundred quid to us folk.My biggest gripe with him is..............hes a major share holder and has never said a word on whats going on at the vale.... SHAME ON HIM

He did speak and very clearly too.

He gave his proxy to the Supporters Club to allow the fans a dissenting voice against a self-serving board. I am sure he knew the V2001 board were not good for either the club or local community.

Very impressive statement Mo. You don't half get the feeling he will have the fans and press eating out his hand if he does buy the club given his excellence in public speaking and his obvious ruthless business acumen.

It's hardly a statement! People need to chill out on the Mo double decker to glory.... Some folks could be very, very despondent if he fails to submit a winning bid.

Going on past form he'll lose out with an undervalued bid. There will be other options and I'd encourage folk not to put all your eggs in one basket.

With all due respect Andy proper business men dont go into the public domain when conducting any type of deal. Its all to get you on side and believe he is the best option. Why would he have to do this?

The truth is that he is now the only option regarding most vale fans, what you all fail to take on board is that it is now in the hands of the administrator and the FL.They will decide who takes over, not the people who the club means so much too.MO doesnt give a hoot what you or anyone else thinks,he's only in it for his own means....

I know if i had the funds "oh Mr Williams" had and proclaimed to love the vale then i would'nt think twice about taking over...

Dowt he's put a penny into them buckets recently....

Money alone is not the answer, it is business acumen and football contacts that are more important.

Remember stoke had the largest bid. That said it was blocked by the FA as no two clubs can have the same owners.

If the Icelandics didnt know about that rule then they should'nt have been running any football club..If it were the case that they could of had both clubs then we would'nt have a football team it the potteries and all this palaver wouldnt arise.

And has said what since??

He could at least put something on here or twitter about how he feels about the whole thing, but no.Every other port vale fan has,so why is he any different.

Yes as vale and its assets would have been merged into stoke city. In the end case it was against the fa rule as someone could buy another club to use their assets or even league status.

It was never going to happen was it really. Ground sharing at cobridge dog track, our Rory would of tripped up over the rabbit taking a throw:D:D:D
