New owners. An idea. Not the best perhaps but at least

one worth thinking about.

Every Vale fan write two letters to leading businesses and their boards in the ST post code area and ask them to contact the SC with a view to investing in the new Port Vale. Tell them the history (briefly). Ask them to become Port Vale investors. Tell them the fans will be behind them.

A simple bullet pointed one page letter will perhaps create a far greater impact than could be imagined because it comes from a fan. They don't know you, but you know that they can make a real difference.

Don't let the club be moved to a new board on the "cheap". Maximise your own ability, now.

I hope chaudry can get the club as 'cheap' as possible, hopefully then he'll invest the difference into the playing side.

Spot on. He will have a level of overall investment in mind, both for the purchase and then the capital required to take club forward.

The lower the purchase price should increase his budget for the latter.

I certaily hope that MC comes forward. Amongst the creditors, however, there may well be quite a few local small businesses. I hope that Mo can find a way to ensure that they don't lose out. Administration may well be the best way forward but there will be a considerable number of casulties along the way.

I hate MOLD and Bratt.

Apparently v2001 were not the highest bidder last admin but, the administrator appointed them because they had the backing of a large portion of the fan base.

so imo, the sc club needs to organise a petition of names that are pro Mo to give to the administrator showing Mo would have the backing of a large portion of the fan base.

That's a great idea.

What a call mate. Perhaps you could bring this up tomorrow?

That is what Mo means by a balanced bid.

What if Mo is not the answer?

What if he is? Or suppose there are no other white knights (pardon the pun) out there? Perhaps we could interest an Arab Sheik or two.

Get real. While I don't go along with the 'Little Port Vale' thing it's a reality that clubs with our history and support don't attract the likes of an Abramovich. Mo is about as good as we are likely to get.

Im worried that there will no one else?

Its Mo all the way for me or Vale may no longer exist soon.

The sane fans underestimate what some sections of the fanbase will sacrifice to prevent someone of asian heritage running our football club. I'm sure that some would rather have the club on it's knees feeding off the scraps of finite resources. If Mo rises above this scum minority then he will hopefully have sizeable backing from reasonable fans.

This is in no way indicative of any anti-Mo motives on this forum, just a general point about the wider fanbase. As many will be aware race is still an embarrassingly big stumbling block at this club.

Don't go expecting big investment in the playing side. The club needs to cut its cloth their otherwise 2-3 years down the line we go into admin/under. Look at Portsmouth. It will be slow and painful rebuild of everything at the club. From finances - club staff - playing staff - what goes into our pies.
