Things Looking Up????

Ye or little faith. ;)

If the players play like I heard they did on Saturday I'm pretty sure the points will start accumulating. As I said, appears they've responded well to the current management team, and they played with a bit of width on Saturday didn't they which was certainly lacking last week.

That's great stuff. So think about what we would be like if we had money behind us!

Things looking up? Just coz you heard we played well Saturday - yeah we played as well as we will and we still couldn't score / win.

Marc Richards had about 3 touches, 2 of which were sitters that he missed but he still didn't get taken off as we've only got JR on the bench and he couldn't score in a bro...el.

Great situation to be in.

Off the pitch it seems like Vale will have a new CEO, fresh idea's and if the rumours are to be believed he/she is from a Marketing Background so I would imagine some new revenue streams will be explored, could well result in some decent funds being given to a new manager for next season.

All in all it's a good time to be a Vale fan ======

So there is to be a new unqualified CEO on temporary work experience....

being as there is a season ticket/sponsorship/kiosk/club shop Boycott is there any other revenue streams except loans....with over 3.5 million in debts and the ground only being worth 3.5 million it looks insolvent and the credit must have run out......V2001 can't even afford a proper size League 2 squad and couldn't afford loan players while they'll need to find some money to pay Gannon off.

No manager would touch Port Vale now and with the boycott they won't be able to fund a first team squad and the only thing to look forward too is administration and relegation to non-league..........so things are "going reasonably well" since Bratt and the minority shareholders turned down a

record 5 million investment without even asking the owners of the club.

Brilliant. Another banbell thread.

If ever you feel down about Vale he's always got something positive to say.

There was me thinking that being in the top 3 for most of the season and then dropping to 9th and having a decrepit board was a big stinking pile of poo.

We are where we are I guess.

Yeah, right...

All in all it's a good time to be a Vale fan in this new post-Gannon era

Yeah, right...

Gary Roberts gets dropped for Saturdays game, and no one is moaning about Grewey not playing our so called best player/best player in league 2! Just seems this post Gannon era fans are going to be more bothered about the fact he is left and now that he has left everything is all of a sudden smelling of roses once again. We dropped 2 points against Hereford and 2 points against Bury, yeah they are a good team but the team Saturday was missing numerous first team players through injury or illness! But everyone thinks things are looking up.

Not everyone, just Banbell and his 5 mates (or 6 if you include Mr Plant).

Roberts was cack against Hereford

I thought it was a refreshing change to see the starting 11 and to agree with the changes that were made

I'm seriously concerned by this. I assume this person has undergone an interview process at Vale yet the Board has not yet been able to ascertain the gender of the successful applicant. Perhaps the Directors have their heads even further in the sand than we thought?
