Things Looking Up????

Yeovil turnover last accounting year was £2.7m on average gates 400 less than ours. In fact 6 Div 1 teams had lower crowds than us and only Walsall sit in the bottom 4. Hartlepool average 3,300.

Smell the coffee. The future's bright. Don't miss the Early Bird offers.

What debt repayment obligations did those clubs with smaller gates have Aub? What cash reserves did they have to invest into the playing side of their respective clubs?

I'd suggest the only folk in need of the aroma of Nescafe are those who believe this board are capable of running the club competitively.

Look at the facts. Highest League finish under the current board. 7th in League One. In their first season, under a manager and squad they had basically inherited.

Since then:

League One: 17th, 13th, 12th, 23rd

League Two: 18th, 10th

During that time the club has lost hundreds of thousands of pounds on an almost annual basis.

7 full seasons and not once have we finished in a position to compete for honours. All the signs point towards an 8th season of failure and another year of losses.

As some on here like to say. Tik tok.

hartlepool's owner has pumped several million in to subsidise their low gates and is happy to do so

Your post is a disgrace, you use notts forest as a cover and to tell a life long supporter who has been going as long as me he wont be missed at Vale Park is shocking, I hope you get found out and justice is dispensed ===

Clam down pal, I suggest you get down Mcdonalds and buy yourself a Happy Meal.

I was merely pointing out that as he has had not one positive thing to say about Vale and is constantly moaning and heaping negativity into the club and since he has stated that he won't be watching Vale next season he may as well go and watch the action down at Stoke, hopefully might lighten his mood up a bit =========
