Is not Oliver`s 3 year term up or not? Could he not sponsor a director, as could Jackson? Thus no new investment? Until we know the contents of the AGM agenda, speculation will run riot, afterwards it may be worse. Only by winning all the battles will the war be won.

Surely this won't be two meetings on the same day.

Iirc, the board is allowed to add its own resolutions to those presented by the caller of the EGM. Therefore, I would think what will happen is that there will only be one vote. Prior to that, there should be a presentation about the annual accounts and possible a Q&A session (pre-selected questions most likely).

The SC will create the initial agenda, which will be (at least) to remove the current directors and elect the six selected directors for the interim board. The board will then add its resolutions which will be to propose their names for election as directors.

Deakin and Oliver should stand down and this should be part of the agenda. The cloudy issue is what happens with Miller. Unless he has paid for the shares or is sponsored by someone that has, he must stand down. So I would not be surprised to see the board propose three new directors.

It is most important that all shareholders know who and what they are voting for, the board will attempt to confuse as they did last time, and there is not much time to get the message across. Maybe weekly SC meetings, articles in the Sentinel, and another PV special on RS.============

Is it a good idea to keep posting all these.I think they will do ?,I think they will do that? posts. While i can imagine that they may well do some sort of sly trick. But if they see an idea on here that they have not thought of then they might just think "that sounds a good plan,we will try that one"

Melv, that's wrong. The SC have forced the Club/Board to call the EGM. The Club are managing the EGM with regards to date, time location etc. The SC have put forward the resolutions.

Thanks Caroline.

The SC has requested an EGM but the club is pretty much in control of the date, time, location and running even though they missed the deadline. If the SC had gained control then they could have called it before the AGM.

I am sure all will be revealed tomorrow evening but I think that giving the club the control of formalities is an own goal.

We shall have to wait and see I guess.

But surely a brainstorm on here will throw up all the options, including the ones they have already, which once exposed can be blocked. Let there be light on thier antics.=========

I honestly don't think the SC would have had much choice in giving the club until today to call it. GB intimated last week that in principal an agreement had been reached, if the club had simply gone ahead and called the EGM at 5:01 pm on Friday, should the costs become in issue, the SC's solicitors conduct could have been called into question, which could have further cost consequences down the line.
