Used to see exactly this time and time again with Neil Aspin.

Difference is Aspin was garbage for ages before we sacked him, I wanted him gone for a couple months before he went. Askey is MID TABLE after 7 GAMES.

Well when we are mid-table after 15 games perhaps you'll change your tune a little. Though probably not.

Do you ever got bored of spouting negativity around on this page? What’s wrong with “keep the faith”? Some people have clearly lost theirs seven games in. Reading this forum really is a joke sometimes.

Most people aren't asking for him to be sacked. But he's getting a lot more wrong than he is right currently and nobody with any sense can't be extremely concerned about the way things are going right now after a positive start.

Go back to the start of the season where pretty much everyone were in agreement that we had the best squad for a long time. Not one person here would have side being 13th after 7 games was anywhere close to being acceptable.

And I agree with you. However, it’s very early on and he deserves time to sort it out. I don’t know if he will or won’t, I’m not a fortune teller. But he deserves that chance to

Wow where do I start?
1. We are 13th in mid table after 7 games and you want the manager sacked. Are you Gary Neville? We’re not Salford mate.

2. He’s so set in his ways that he even changed formation two games ago!

3. Worrall hasn’t been diabolical. Bang average. Whitehead has been a couple of times but today was bang average.

4. He’s such an uninspiring and clueless manager that he almost got us in the playoffs last season and would have had covid not happened.

Actually, I was wrong. It wasn’t all tosh. Robinson played well.

1 ) im goin off performances we have been really bad in the majority of our games no creativity no chances made bad sides look good, had no plan b when things werent working players look clueless and dont know what there doing

2)

He is set in his ways sticks with same tactics in game even when not working refuses change personal until way to late. Clearly has favourites ie worrall who play every week regardless of how they play

3) need your glasses tested on this one he has been shocking get up a highlight reel of his season so far would be a interesting watch he has done nothing. Giving ball away, cant beat a man , created nothing , no pace all make up to be some winger

4) the guy is most boring guy to listen to ever apparently he doesnt speak to most of the players doesn’t communicate with them. Also reality check we are in league 2 we should be minimum challenging for playoffs

you need wake up scraping results just covers ups the cracks but soon they will become to big and we will lose touch with having any success this season i for one would love to see him gone doesnt do it for me

I don’t completely understand the meltdown if we went to Scunthorpe and lost 3-1 tonight. But we didn’t, we went to top of the league, and as a whole performed as good as we’ve seen this season. People are so quick jump on the negative bandwagon. It’s laughable, it really is.

If we’re mid table after 15 games I still wouldn’t be demanding him to be sacked unless performances on the pitch made me lose faith completely.
Do you remember a few seasons ago when Barnsley were near the bottom after about 20/25 games and got promoted? There’d still be 31 games left.

If I wanted to keep the faith I'd listen to Bon Jovi. There's teams near the bottom that have scored more goals than us, we're sliding down the table and have a manager that waits until 81 minutes to try and change the course of a game when everyone else can see that things needed changing after 60.

Sorry for being a little bit concerned.

1. We’ve been really bad in 3 games, really good in 2, decent against Salford and ok tonight. No Plan B I agree but that’s not a sackable offence this early on.

2. Failed to address my point that completely disproved your argument but oh well.

3. Agree to disagree cus that’s total rubbish imo but fair enough

4. Who told you that? A flying pig?

Also reality check, no one has a god given right to go up. We are above Bradford who have more than double our fans.

On another note, read around social media and you’ll find Cambridge fans giving us a lot of credit. They are saying we are one of the best sides they have played this season. I wonder what some of you lot watch during the 90 minutes?

First half we were good second half shocking but askey waits until 80 mins to change it

A game that was there to be won and yet our manager makes his first change after 81 minutes to try and get back into it. Literally wasted 35 minutes of the second half scratching his nutsack and watching us go nowhere after a decent first half.

1) Have they all been bad sides we've made look good?  Check the league table.

2) He made changes v Wigan then Carlisle.  Worrall is still one of our better players despite being nowhere near last sasons form and it's likely he would have lost his place if Amoo were fit.

3) The general concensus would be that he is a good winger, last seasons stats don't lie.  He hasn't found that form yet and he's not on his own in that regard.

4) Not worth responding to this. Absolute joke of a comment.  Reality check what gives us the devine right to mimimum challenge for the playoffs?  We've no more, or less, right than anyone else in the league.

I completely agree with the point about Askey and his substitution times. It’s always frustrated me, but he’s always done it. It’s nothing new. We have been successful with him doing it in the past.

Yes, the lack of goals is concerning but we’ve been without Amoo, McKirdy and Cullen over the past few weeks. I think goals will gradually start to come. Robinson certainly did himself no harm today. On another day, he would have scored a second with the chance he had in the second half. He’s starting to show us the player he can be.

It took us a while to get into our stride last season. We’ve had new players come in, we’ve had injuries and unsettled starting XI’s. It will all come together eventually, I genuinely do believe that.

Like I’ve said, the general overreaction from our fan base tonight has been embarrassing.

Really?  Second half shocking?
