Are the current board potentially beatable in terms of the supporters having a chance of out voting them at an EGM or the AGM?

 

I haven't been keeping up to date with the Vale recently I'm afraid.

I haven't been keeping up to date with the Vale recently I'm afraid.

 

As far as I am aware, I think the board have around 33% of the shares. Only ones who vote count though, so abstentions put their share up. Still a potential 67% to go at, but some more could be sold before any EGM which could change things.

I take it you're including the Deakin and Miller nil paid shares Phil? Are you including the BSI nil paid ones on the non-Board side??

When was the shareholders letter sent out? I haven't received it yet.

 

I had mine in Friday's post [13th]returned the same day.

We have to count Miller and Deakin's shares as being with the board because we can't trust them not to use them in an EGM.

 

Similarly, we can't count the Blue Sky shares because the board will do everything they can to prevent them from being used. I know Perry said they had been 'withdrawn', but legally they still exist and it isn't very straightforward to just cancel them.
