what????????? what league are hull and boro in? have they got decent grounds and decent players?

admin is the only suitable solution to vales current plight i'm afraid as the current board will never do the right thing by the club and have saddled us with rediculous contracts and debt

And Bournemouth have just had a bid of 500k rejected for a class player in Matt Ritchie which shows their new ambitions.

If we go in to admin the club will get a boost from rising attendances as most people will go back and pay on the day.Up to 3000 extra on the gate at 20quid a throw

Not a chance of that, as many will not return even though they said they would. They have got into the habit of staying away and it will take years to get them back:yes:

Bournemouth gained promotion with a very small tight squad and a good manager now at Burnley. They have found a reasonable owner. Hull sped up the league but they have had recent controversy about overspending again and have probably relied on parachute payments following relegation from the Permier League. Middlesbrough have had a stable and reasonably wealthy chairman and I don't think they represent reality. I think we need to contemplate Aldershot, Newport County, Halifax, Chester, Accrington, Luton, Darlington etc. That is a small sample and many clubs have gone completely out of existence. Even Port Vale stopped trading for several years in the early part of the 20th century and we can remember such great lights Leeds City and South Shields.

Did swansea enter admin? Doncaster as well? If we come out of admin with a decent owner we will be okay. Admin will not spell the end of the Vale. Luton got docked 25 points, Darlington had massively overspent on 2500 gates we hopefully won't represent those clubs. The rest at best get/got half the gates we do. In recent times I can only think of Maidstone or Scarborough who have ceased to be, neither the size of the Vale.
