Ah ok so we're moving the goal posts from single market MEMBERSHIP to single party ACCESS now?

You are moving the goalposts! May's deal would be leaving the EU. FACT! That's all that was on the ballot paper!

All the leading Brexiteers wanted to be like Norway and Switzerland! They have single market access, but don't have a seat around the table!

When the majority of people voted to leave the EU to hand sovereignty back to the UK, you cannot claim that a deal which keeps EU sovereignty is leaving the EU.

Sovereignty..... yet Boris Johnson won't rule out shutting down parliament to get a no deal through.

How do you know what the crap deal would be..... note..... I didn't say Mays crap deal.

Any deal with the EU which involves leaving will not be as beneficial as remaining in the EU.

When the majority of people voted to leave the EU to hand sovereignty back to the UK, you cannot claim that a deal which keeps EU sovereignty is leaving the EU. It's quite telling that a vociferous remainer would think that it is leaving, because you obviously want us to remain as much as possible, and this is way for you to say that we've left but actually we've not left.

The whole sovereignty argument is floored anyway. The UK is a sovereign state. We wouldn't be able to leave if we weren't sovereign. We have many controls over our laws, and you couldn't even name an EU law you disagreed with. We have a huge chunk of MEPs who can go and vote on EU law anyway.

Not at all. You can keep repeating the same tired old mistruths but it doesn't make it true.

we voted to leave the EU. That quite clearly meant that we voted to regain sovereignty. If the EU is still sovereign over our law then how have we left the EU?

Please.

The EU website confirms that they can literally punish us if we dare to implement a law which doesn't comply with their laws.

It's not even up for debate, it's 100% concrete proof that they are the supreme authority over UK law.

Furthermore, I've debunked the whole "name 1 law...." crap that has been attempted many times on this website. That is moving the goal posts again. It's irrelevant and anyway, I've outlined a million times why I want to leave the EU, maybe a remainer should tell me why the EU is so great for once?

IT IS TRUE! BY DEFINITION! MAY'S WITHDRAWAL AGREEMENT WOULD BE LEAVING THE EU TREATIES! I UNDERSTAND YOU DON'T LIKE MAY'S DEAL, BUT IT IS LEAVING THE EU BY DEFINITION. STOP TRYING TO USE YOU OPINION TO ARGUE AGAINST FACTS!!!

You've not been concerned with facts before now, what has changed?

Leaving in name only.

In practice we would still be trapped by all the negative points that motivated people to vote to regain our sovereignty.
