For those of you intending to renew your Season Ticket

If my memory serves me correctly, didn't Luton fans boycot buing season tickets, when they were trying to get the owner to sell? And that created a huge crisis at the club, as they didn't have any cashflow all summer.

But as soon as the club was sold, there was a que as long as the eye could see, to renew or buy?

It was on telly, so I'm quite sure I'm right.

So not buying a season ticket, actually do starve him.

I wasn't planning to renew anyway while Gorm is still in charge.

That’s been said year on year pretty much since v2001 started conning and whilst numbers are declining I’d say that figure will be more likely around 2' date='000 though ultimately on the field will dictate people’s buyibg patterns so it’s really down to the gutless players.[/quote']

Yes, the feeling of decay, desperation and disconnection is all down to the players. Nothing to do with having a walking PR disaster like Smurthwaite getting involved in signing lots of useless players, refusing to spend anything on marketing, treating the fans like dirt and generally being a colossal bell-end.

Yep, it's the players fault.

A lot are saying that they will not buy a ST while Smurthwaite is still here. How about doing something via the SC that fans pledge to Buy a ST ‘IF’ Smurthwaite has left.Maybe put the money into a fund but it is ring fenced and then used to buy the ST ‘IF’ we get a new owner.Obviously a lot more would need to be done and sorted out before this was to happen. It would show any new owner that people are willing to buy a ST.

I'd be happy to make that pledge.

If we were top ten we’d have more fans, let’s not kid ourselves. If team does well more fans attend, if team does badly it’s less fans, it’s the same the country over. Nobody comes to watch the owner, they come to watch those wasters.
