Vales new manager

Can I just point out that the club going into administration under Bill Bell can hardly be blamed on the supporters. It was down to a huge debt owing to HMRC and the collapse of ITV Digital which hit the club's income hard. He was not hounded out by fans as some on here are suggesting.

I don’t care if there is change or not, it’s you and others that want change and are going to seemingly bang your fist and spit bile until you get it, you therefore need to eventually come up with alternatives, viable ones.....

To help you a little I think personally stopping the animosity, offering structured and positive channels of communication with the owner, finding a billionaire who will invest in the club and / or someone with a sustainable 10 year successful business plan to that can be assessed prior someone matching the owners valuation are all options, see how you go. Alternatively you could just keep abusing folk, that should work for you

As you said to me about a week ago in a thread about Leon Legge, what has this got to do with this thread which is 'Vale's New Manager'. Practice what you preach !

Agreed I did try to bring the topic back on track in an earlier post if you look back.

I was simply then replying to another poster, sadly every post ends up with one topic as they get dragged off. Even the aforementioned flipping Legge one!

I take it you didn’t wear your flat cap in the protest against Bell?

Love how you then post an article that blows this post out of the water. Classic REP rewriting history.

So there wasn’t a protest that Dave called a ‘march’ and there weren’t violent protests involving his vehicles? People chant for Bell to leave?

Yes of course itv digital read the last rights to his reign but to say there weren’t protests against is disingenuous.

Indeed, the flat cap march was in support of Rudge, not a demo against Bell. And I never believed the smashed cars story - not a single photo of them anywhere. A bit like the story of the current owner being beaten up because he wouldn't give Micky Adams a contract - no Police record.

Askey will have my full support unless the inconceivable happens and our admittedly Stoke supporting manager takes us down to the National League on the last day of the season in a defeat which keeps his beloved Macclesfield up. The script seems written but hopefully won’t happen.
