I spoke to Graham Shaw yesterday he said he would withhold any comment until it was officially confirmed. He did say in footballing terms he had never heard of him and he did not know him.

Dear Jimmy,

 

I do not imagine for one moment it will be officially confirmed. However it is unofficially confirmed that:

 

1. He attended at the club Friday last at a time the the board convened a meeting;

2. He attended the meeting with GM and ML on Monday last when Jim Gannon's contract was terminated;

3. He was at last night's game with a clip board and questionnaire asking fans for information.

4. He is in and around the club on an almost daily basis.

 

The involvement of Mr Plant remains a mystery but no doubt we will be enlightened in time.

 

I note with interest the link to his legal practice and I note with equal interest the statement by the Board as part of the rejection of the Newton bid. There but for the grace of God go I:

 

I have not seen to full statement of rejection issued by the board in response to Mike's bid. Can you post the link - just curious.
