I was speaking to a good mate of mine last night who went to the function on Saturday night.He said the food was poor,when the christmas pudding arrive it was very small and only had about 1 spoonful of custard with it.While the entertainment was on they had the TV on in the same room at the same time so people could watch x factor.How disrespectful to the people in the band can you get.

I'm in a band and we often have to play whilst people are watching football, darts, X Factor etc etc.

 

Seems some landlords don't want to upset customers, but are quite happy to **** the band off!

These rumours that the fayre was sub-standard are being spread by a couple of individuals who don't have access to the correct information. ;)

 

I've heard it was a banquet fit for a king (or a Miller, anyway ).

 

As for the TV and band in the same room, health and saftey insisted on it. :D

Haha.... We are talking about custard? I went out to quite an upmarket restaurant at the weekend. I had possibly two spoons of custard. Maybe PVFC are trying to compete.
