There are two ways you can explain Bratt's actions, he was either acting completely for himself and never really had the clubs best interests at heart, or he was such a petulant child that he thought well if you dont want me running the place i'll take my ball home with me.

Tbh i dont think a life time ban would bother him any way as i question whether he was a fan in the first place.

I had a conversation with a former sponsor who stopped sponsoring and attending 7 years ago after he could see what Bratt was up to.

 

This guy is a die hard fan, he told me that the total investment Bratt put in was £5000.

 

He said Bratt conned everyone and people believed him when he said he was not being paid for being chairman, but good old Bill forgot to mention was that he was being given £80,000 shares instead.

When you think about it Bratt did bring both these 2 to the Vale. He said he worked 6 months day and night to do a deal with Peter Miller who was then with ags ameriturf and also Bratt brought in Perry as CEO.
