i have come to the conclusion that alot off people say they are vale fans but in their hearts they aren't. they come up with every excuse in the book why they can't go to matches over the last decade from bill bell to horton to glover to sinott to glover to valiant 2001 to gannon to prices to anything you can think off really, i cant change what goes on behind the scenes we dont really know 100% what is going on its all hearsay but the one thing we can do through the very good times and bad times is support the team, my dad started taking my when we were rock bottom of this division but we came through it because we stuck together as a club thats why i can't and won't boycott games its not in me i love watching port vale its in my blood however bad we are at the moment.

 

Totally agree with that post Windsor Vale - there's a lot of keyboard warriors that like to think they're in the know with things but don't go near Vale Park.

 

The fans should stick together - but all you hear is I'm not going until Oliver's gone, I'm not going till we've signed Rooney, I'm not goin until the Bycars bogs smell nice! At the end of the day if you're a proper fan you go to the games - simple as.

Those who decide to not go aint helping the poorly paid who cannot afford to pay 21 quid to get in the usual matches,sick of how negative some folk are get to the game and support the team (yes they are not very good aint been for many a year).

Whats new sitting on your computer moaning about everything Vale (before you say NO im not a happy clapper im just as peeved as you r)it would be better to get to the game and take all your anger and frustration out in a positive way by cheering Vale and getting behind them.

If you love the club and im sure you do then get up there and support the club if not then sit there and moan no ones listening the bottom line is Vale is nothing without our support so do you choose to destroy something you love or climb off your **** and go and cheer the team on.

Off the pitch aint my responsibility if they dont run the club properly then they will face the wrath of the fanbase but how can you claim you love the Vale if you cant give a fiver and a hour and a half of your time.

Up The Vale support MA and the lads.

 

There will be a lot of ST holders who are not going.

 

If no one is listening(reading) then why have you posted?

I'm a season ticket holder and not going.

 

Not because I'm boycotting it or anything but just because I can't be bothered to sit in the cold and watch something I've lost a bit of passion for at the moment.

 

It's things like this that the board should be more worried about rather than any boycott.
