Perhaps Smurf should consider opening a cafe in Burslem Park to cater for those who prefer sitting in a cafe than watching the Vale.

People often go on about the incentives to get kids going and I agree more can be done but really it comes down to them being entertained by the football which we haven't had for years unfortunately.

I was pondering this at Barnet away. Their facilities for fans are brilliant they had excellent carpeted concourses, great food, sofas, full sky sports, a great selection of beers, great toilets...

 

We have stale old pies and even in the Lorne Street, a crowded, cold concrete concourse with old TVs and a pixilated screen. The toilets are better at Glastonbury.

Yeah we don't have the most up to date ground and the pie situation has been going on for years now which needs to be sorted but those things don't come into it when you talk about value for money. Not many cared about the pies, toilets and TVs promotion season. You get your value for money on the pitch which clearly at the minute is poor value but lowering the prices wouldn't help the club or fans get any more value for their money. It is what it is in football. And for the poster having a dig at Beza you don't get many more fans as committed to the Vale as Beza and his wife are.
