Brexit again...

The point is, howjy, the Brexit brigade are planning a low tax economy once we've left. This is supposedly to encourage business, which it will, but at what cost? Low treasury revenues mean public spending austerity and / or increased public sector borrowing. Even Mrs. Dullard herself is talking about slashing business taxes post Brexit now.

This is a policy that encourages and facilitates a race to the bottom, look at any low-tax, low-cost economy and it has an incredibly wealthy small elite and a very large generally impoverished mass population. It's the system operated in this country prior to the second world war - awful.

We need fair taxation and encouragement of investment in capital equipment and skills training as our competitors do, without it we'll fall further behind which is what happened in the Thatcher years.

You may be of the opinion you'll be alright because you won't be one of those doing the suffering but a) how can you be sure of a fortunate personal position, only those completely independent of the state will enjoy that including independence from welfare & services (think state pensions and NHS) and b) do you want to return to a society with mass poverty, malnourished children and all the other associated ills? Surely that's morally wrong.

The Tories would be happy with a post Brexit Britain that looked like that, they're actually preparing for it if you listen to what they're saying, on top of what they're currently doing.

Contrary to popular belief they're not the friends of British business, everything is up for sale with them including the NHS. They'd sell our road network if they had chance.

This does not mean the alternative is a massive lurch to the extreme left either. Many of the policies advocated by the Labour conference aren't extreme, worker representation on large company boards is not uncommon in other countries, a middle of the road corporation tax is advocated not a crippling one, skills training and public investment in key areas such as renewable energy will give us a return to energy independence, a massive advantage that fuelled the industrial revolution and was a key factor as to why it happened here.

Your own family manufacturing business was killed by hard right Tory policies, why would you want to have another, possibly bigger, dose of it in a Britain outside the EU where they're free to impose any Dickensian conditions they like on us?

My ‘fortunate’ position was achieved by myself and by my dad,who looked after his family. If you think I’m a ‘I’m alright Jack, type of person’you really are way off the mark.I don’t know if you have kids or grandkids SOTT.If you have, make sure their future is secure during your lifetime and don’t wait to get shafted by a Labour Wealth grabbing government,if God forbid, they ever get in again. My dad’s company was left rudderless when he died, nothing to do with the Tories.

In addition I have noticed a lack of taste in younger people these days,in most things.Music, clothing, fine dining, choice of car etc.

Probably throughout the whole entire nearly 400 pages that's the only sensible post you've made that bears any reality. I'll give you these things, but then again blokes like yourself have not looked at traditional British culture at all so we are now an Americanised society where people are basically social media addicts desperate for a few likes on social media. It's bred a generation of wronguns.

Why do you think I'm a Labour voter too, I've not said that anywhere? Your arguments are getting more desperate Howjy you're bringing up irrelevances like the labour party who are not in power. You dont even talk about Brexit or promote any of the good things it will bring..... Because you can't 😂 😀

Is a sense of humour transplant now available on the NHS?Get on the waiting list. You need to get out more.

I've found lumps on my body that were more funny than you! You can't answer / reply normally so attempt some really bad humor. It's okay, I understand you cannot answer because you don't know what your talking about.
