Very sad to hear reports coming in of a van swerving into people on London Bridge, armed police attending, not certain if a terrorist attack or not yet.

Witnesses reporting 5 or 6 people struck by white van at south end of London Bridge and suspect in handcuffs. Those poor people, absolutely awful - will this madness ever end?

Watching the footage on BBC news chanel, imo there's too much police activity for it to be just 5 or 6 people hit by a van, it seems much more serious.

I wasn't trying to belittle the incident and yes5 or 6 people is bad enough, but to me it seems much more serious.

BBC saying 3 different incidents now but they're not sure if any of them are related at the moment.

More than one fatality at London Bridge, terrible news.

 

Borough, 2nd incident is very close, but Vauxhall 3rd incident is over a mile away.

No information yet about who is behind this - but there was a report that it was being handled by Police and not intelligence services - not sure if that means anything.

 

One thing is for sure - the people who were saying we do not need so many police now have been shown to be totally wrong in the most tragic way possible.

Could be that it's totally out of the blue and the intel services knew nothing about it, so it's down to the police to react.

That's what's being reported. One thing is for sure now is the time to be tough on terror and not sympathise with these people. There needs to be a hardline policy to deal with such threats to human life.
